Guillaume Fouace

(1827 - 1895)

 

Guillaume Fouace was born in 1827 in Reville and was the pupil of Yvon. He was well known for his rich and colourful still-lifes, often including fish and shells and also for his portraits and flower pictures. Fouace exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1870 and the Dijon Salon in 1885 and won awards in 1884 and 1891.
